The 8th Annual ZooBrew at Brookfield Zoo will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019. For the first time, customers can choose between three sessions. The Full Session is from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The V.I.P. Session is from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A half Session is from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Blue Moon is the sponsor of ZooBrew. The participating breweries are Blue Moon (of course), Brickstone Brewery, Ballast Point, Finch Beer Company, Firestone Walker, Hacker Pschorr, Heineken, Kinslahger Brewing Company, Leinekugel’s, Mike’s Hard Lemonade/White Claw, MillerCoors, New Belgium, Noon Whistle, Pampelonne, Revolution Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Tenth and Blake, and 2 Fools Cider.
A $55 Full Session Ticket covers parking; all-day admission to the Brookfield Zoo (9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.); admission to the ZooBrew tent (3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with the last call at 7:00 p.m.); three-ounce samplings from over eighty beers; and a commemorative tasting glass. The band Hello Weekend will be performing live music. Please note that designated drivers will not be allowed to sample beer but his or her ticket does cover unlimited soft drinks. A Full Session Designated Driver Ticket costs $35.
A $90 V.I.P. Session Ticket covers parking; all-day admission to the Brookfield Zoo (9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.); exclusive access to the V.I.P. Garden (2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with the last call at 7:00 p.m.); early V.I.P. admission to the ZooBrew tent (at 2:30 p.m.) and unlimited access thereafter until 7:30 p.m.; exclusive samplings of select specialty brews in the V.I.P. Garden; food in the V.I.P. Garden; visit with Animal Ambassadors in the V.I.P. Garden; three-ounce samplings from over eighty beers; and a commemorative tasting glass. Please note that designated drivers will not be allowed to sample beer but his or her ticket does cover unlimited soft drinks. A V.I.P. Session Designated Driver Ticket costs $50.
A $35 Half Session Ticket covers parking; all-day admission to the Brookfield Zoo (9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.); admission to the ZooBrew tent (12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the last call at 1:45 p.m.); three-ounce samplings from over eighty beers; and a commemorative tasting glass. Please note that designated drivers will not be allowed to sample beer but his or her ticket does cover unlimited soft drinks. A Half Session Designated Driver Ticket costs $25.
While the zoo is open until 6:00 p.m., participants can walk out into the larger zoo, but after 6:00 one must remain in the event area on the East Mall until they leave for the night. All participants must be adults twenty-one-years-of-age or over and have valid identification cars to prove it. Children will not be allowed in the ZooBrew tent or larger event area and will not be allowed to stay in the zoo after 6:00.
Outside food can be brought into the zoo. However, outside alcohol cannot be brought into the zoo, much less the ZooBrew tent.

The Chicago Zoological Society operates the Brookfield Zoo on property that belongs to the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. The North Gate Main Entrance address is 8400 West 31st Street, Brookfield, Illinois 60513. The South gate Main Entrance address is 3300 Golf Road, Brookfield, Illinois 60513. The Hollywood (Zoo Stop) on Metra’s B.N.S.F. line is a few blocks to the south of the South Gate entrance.
