The Lincoln Park Zoo will host the event “Adults Night Out: Summer Adventure” tonight (Thursday, August 8, 2019) from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. New Belgium Fat Tire is the sponsor.
There will also be animal chats, educational entertainment, and cash bars. Stop by Foreman Pavilion starting at 8:35 p.m. to hear four storytellers relate “dramatic, embarrassing, and wonderous [sic] stories of encounters with urban wildlife.” The Story Slam storytellers will be Liam Heneghan, Ecologist and Professor at DePaul University; Akilah Martin, Soil Scientist, Philosopher, and Associate Dean at DePaul University; Dan Protess, Writer and Producer at W.T.T.W.’s Urban Nature; and Kim Ruffin, Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and Professor at Roosevelt University.

To receive their 20% discount, Lincoln Park Zoo Members should click on “Enter Promotional Code,” and enter the first three digits of their Member Identification Numbers. If one has a group of ten or more people, the group can also save 20% by using “GROUP” as the promotional code.
If any tickets remain available, they will be sold on-site for $20. However, tickets often sell out, so there may not be any available at the door.
Tickets are non-refundable. However, they are transferrable. The event will go on rain or shine.
One must be at least eighteen-years-old to participate in this event. Outside food and beverages are prohibited, as are dogs. Lincoln Park Zoo is accessible by public transportation. Guests who want to drive should park in the lot on Cannon Drive.
