The Women’s Board of the Chicago Zoological Society will hold the 18th Annual Wines in the Wild fundraiser on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Discovery Center at Brookfield Zoo from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Private Tasting is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the Main Event is from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Guests will sample a variety of wines and liquors from Prestige Countryside Liquors. The Brookfield Zoo’s culinary staff will be preparing hors d’oeuvres to be served with the wines. There will be a raffle and silent auction. Guests can place a bid throughout the Main Event. Guests who discover wines they really like can purchase them and 10% of the proceeds will go to the Brookfield Zoo to support conservation programs, educational programs, and Women’s Board scholarships.
An individual ticket is $120. This entitles one to enter the Main Event at 7:30 p.m. with access to wine tastings, food, a raffle, and a silent auction.
For $275, one can get a single ticket that entitles one to enter the Private Tasting that begins at 6:00 p.m. Then, at 7:30, one will enter the Main Event, where one will access to wine tastings, food, a raffle, and a silent auction.
A set of two tickets are $500. This gives both people access to the Private Tasting that will begin at six o’clock and the Main Event that will begin at seven thirty.
For $1,200, one will get a set of six tickets. This covers access to both the Private Tasting at six o’clock and the Main Event at seven thirty.


The Chicago Zoological Society is a private, non-profit organization that operates Brookfield Zoo on land owned by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums.
